About the Retreat

Liz is delighted to be hosting her first ever Yoga retreat in the rural parish of Gratton, in the beautiful Peak District. We will be staying in 2 of the only farmhouses in the village that enjoy unspoiled countryside, perfectly located for walkers, cyclists and Yogis! More information on our accommodation, Dale End Farm and Dale End House, can be found by clicking on the images below (please note that on a mobile phone the images will be at the bottom of the page with the booking link):

Local walks of the Peak District can be recommended, we are also a 15 minute drive into Bakewell and 30 minutes into Buxton, Monsal Head or Chatsworth. There are also local therapists who I understand might be willing to come to us for treatments if there is enough demand.

What Food is included?

I will supply your cottages with healthy breakfast selections and some baked goods. All dietary preferences can be catered for.

For dinner I will ask you each to bring a small, simple dish to share on one of the evenings. This goes beyond trying to keep down costs; it also supports the lovely community ethos that we create over the weekend. If cooking isn’t your thing then please do not worry, you can be on salad duty. Likewise, if you prefer to do your own thing then that is fine also. Everyone’s ideal retreat is different.

How much will it cost me?

There are 3 price brackets depending on your budget and comfort needs:

Price bracket 1 = £195

  • Shared small double with shared bathroom* - 4 places available (2 beds)

Price bracket 2 = £225

  • Shared double or King with en suite – 8 places available (4 beds)**

  • Own single bed with shared bathroom* – 4 places available (4 beds)

Price bracket 3 = £255

  • Own single bed with en suite –4 places available

* Shared bathrooms are between 4 people at the most

**£30 cheaper for sharing a bed -  equivalent room as the high price bracket

Places are to be on a first come, first serve basis. Please specify your room preference when booking.

How do I reserve a place?

£100 deposit to be paid at the time of booking and the remaining balance by September 7th.

If this isn’t affordable at the moment then I am also happy to set up a payment plan of £50 initial deposit (Feb) and £25 per month thereafter to September (or when the balance is paid if the price bracket is lower).

My hope is that the range of price brackets and the option of a payment plan will make the retreat affordable for everyone that would like to be part of it.

To reserve your place or for more information, please contact me:

At the time of booking, please specify your room preference and choice of payment. Once I’ve confirmed availability, please then transfer your deposit.

I’m really sorry but I won’t be able to hold places without some kind of deposit as I’ve had so much interest it wouldn’t be fair to do so.

Deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your place (often possible with enough notice)

The balance must be paid in full by September 7th
